I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ivy Tech Community College Therapeutic Massage program in 2011. I specialize in sports and rehabilitation massage and have experience working with athletes at the high school, collegiate, professional and Olympic levels. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2008. After going through chemotherapy treatments which left me with a body in a less than stellar condition, I began a personal journey towards a healthier life. This is where I discovered the many benefits massage therapy has for the mind and body. I decided that I wanted to become an MT and be a part of that journey to optimal health for others.

Since then I have continued learning, with additional training, working with neck and back issues, equine massage and canine massage. In each massage session, I work with individuals on what their goals with massage are and use any or all of the modalities I have been trained in to work towards that goal. I have also added embodiment coaching to the list. I offer personalized coaching programs tailored to each client’s needs. Through coaching you can receive accountability, support and many tools to help further you on your journey. I look forward to providing a calm, supportive space for each client to feel comfortable to receive massage and coaching. I believe in working with the energy of the mind, body and soul to help my clients with their daily lives along with helping them move forward to the life they are dreaming of.

In my time there, I gained additional knowledge and perspective around body movements and stretching. I utilize a variety of techniques in an effort to meet each individual client’s specific needs. I carry the hunger to continue learning new modalities that I can bring into each session to continue to help each client achieve their goals with massage therapy.

I use several different techniques in my massages such as biomechanics, deep tissue, and muscle- specific trigger point therapy to help clients to alleviate pain and bring relief to chronic discomforts. Since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I have a deep and personal understanding of chronic pain and know the benefits clients can receive with aromatherapy and hot Himalayan salt stone massages.
